The robot system carries out two jointed movements – in opposite directions. The radius of
movement ranges from -60 degrees to +85 degrees. The two grippers remain in their horizontal
position and can only change this by ± 10 degrees. Cables for the servo motor and network
technology among other things as well as hydraulic hoses were fixed to the articulated shaft
in two places. The design can be made significantly more efficient using e-chains® from igus®.
