igus® plastic energy chains are particularly well suited for extreme accelerations, as they consist of few components (up to 6 parts per chain link) and have very low manufacturing tolerances.
In addition constructive gimmicks such as the so-called "tongue and groove" or "highly flexible connectors" are other factors which emphasize the suitability of igus® energy chains for high speeds and accelerations.
